Cappadocia is one of my very favorite places in Turkey. The landscape is naturally beautiful, and the history is fascinating. The Hittites lived there thousands of years ago, and the early Christians used the hills as homes and dug out catacombs below in which to hide.
It almost sounds like the name of a coffee drink.
ReplyDeleteI am torn between wanting to go back here to see the Catacombs and go on amazing hikes, and being afraid that I will get severe "Turkey belly" again.
